1. Use baby oil

As per the video above, you can clean all your stainless steel appliances using none other than baby oil. Simply take a wet cloth and wipe down the surface. Pop some baby oil onto a microfibre cloth and give the surface another wipe down.

2. Clean with dishwashing detergent

Use a touch of dishwashing detergent and a little water and clean along the grain of the stainless steel appliance. Wipe with a microfibre cloth.

3. Use glass cleaner

Spray glass cleaner directly onto the stainless steel appliance and wipe with a microfibre cloth.

4. Olive oil works a treat

Pour a drop of olive oil onto a rag and wipe the appliance in the same direction of the stainless steel grain.

5. Try baking soda

Create a paste using 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of water. Rub the mixture over the surface with a sponge, then gently wipe the paste off with another wet microfibre cloth.

6. White vinegar

Spray white vinegar directly onto the surface of the appliance. Using a microfibre cloth, wipe in the direction of the grain of the stainless steel.

7. Lemon

Combine lemon juice and hot water in a bowl. Use a microfibre cloth and wipe down the stainless steel appliance, then wipe down again using a fresh microfibre cloth.

8. Cream of tartar

Use a few drops of water, cream of tartar, and a sponge to buff out any marks on your stainless steel appliances.
