Alter the Feel with Flooring
Choice is Crucial to the Design Phase.
Flooring options vary in quality, durability and aesthetics.
Your choice in flooring should be an integral part of the design phase of any house or renovation. You can change the look and feel of any space with the flooring material.
Bamboo: If you like the look of hardwood floors, bamboo is a great alternative. Although, technically not wood, it is just as strong and provides good value for money.
Laminate: An inexpensive wood imitation, laminate is only a fraction of the cost of timber flooring; however, it is not as hardwearing. It is easy to install and is available in many different colours and designs.
Concrete: Admired for its urban, industrial aesthetic, concrete floors are the fastest-growing flooring preference. It is incredibly durable and if sealed correctly, a concrete floor is a lot harder to scratch and is more stain resistant than floorboards.
Carpet: A popular and affordable option. Warm and soft underfoot, and reasonably easy to maintain. You should consider different fibres and construction before selection.
